So my parents use to come here on special occasions. We were headed to a different place in Tulsa, but the rain delayed any distance more than a few miles by so much we decided to Yelp for help. When I saw Freddies was close we went there.
Parked, got out I looked around and said to my husband "old people eat here". We walked in and yep, other than an elementary age child sitting with her grands, we were the youngest people in there. We are well past young as well as creeping out of middle age, but everyone had us beat by a decade.
Know why old people east there? 'Cause the steak they make there is absolutely awesome!!!!!! They have been everywhere else and know that Freddies is the steak shop spot. Like I have only had 1 steak in my entire life that was better. This steak was easier on the pocket book.
Along with the steak came 1 rib, a quarter slice of bbq bologna, Lebanese style cabbage roll -

Service was prompt, courtious, and knowledgeable, atmosphere was clean, and spacious, and a good temp inside even on the 100deg day we went. The bad though, was the food, not the flavor, that was there. I ordered ribs 16 bucks, I got 5 ribs, a med sized baked potato, and a dish of beans. The ribs were tough, more meat stuck in my teeth trying to tear it off the bone, definitely not worth 15 bucks for 5 of em. All in all, it was edible, yet definitely forgettable.

Amazing food and great service ! It's authentic Lebanese food and if you don't like it then you have only eaten Americanized middle eastern food !
The smoke sauce is the best ! Thanks for bottledit and selling so I can take it home with me ... -

We've seen the commercial during Discover Oklahoma, so decided to try it out. The Lebanese food was a nice twist on the appetizers. It came with tabooli, cabbage rolls, a rib, bbq bologna, and relishes with hummus. All this except the rib was good. The rib was so chewy I had to spit it out. I also liked the old fashioned crackers and butter on the table and the placemats. Reminded me of restaurants we went to in the 70's. Both me and my husband got ribeye steaks. They were very good size. More than we could eat. My husband's was over cooked but he said it was good. Mine was just ok. In my opinion, there are just too many good steak restaurants around to go here. They are also way better cooked at home by my husband. So, bottom line, it's really too pricey for it not to just knock my socks off. And it sure did not.

Sapulpa is a bit lacking when it comes to dining experiences, but Freddie's is it's main stay and popular go to place. Looking to impress my in-laws I took them one night for dinner. The charm of the place is it's atmosphere. Not really an old school steakhouse, but I doubt the interior has changed much since it was open. The staff is friendly and accomodating. Service is also fast. Once you order, you'll probably be eating your steaks within 15 minutes, that is if you have any room.
Like other Lebanese steak houses, you are first served a tray of veggies with hummus, cabbage rolls, a salad, tabouli, along with a bbq rib and bologna. If you are still hungry after that, your steak and baked potato arrived. I opted for the larger filet and what I like about Freddie's filets are they are not the fancy trimmed circular piece of meat you'd get at any other steak establishment No, what you get is a rustic cut large piece of meat that is far from fancy, but still tender and tasty. While I did order mine medium rare, the level of cooking varied across the steak, though not enough to warrant sending it back. A lot of their steak comes with their smoke sauce. As far as I can tell is a combo of au jus and maybe liquid smoke, but whatever it is, it is good.
For those not wanting to stuff their gullets completely, they also offer sandwiches. Also don't miss out on their house salad dressing. And if you want to attempt to recreate the experience at home, don't forget to bring home bottles of their dresssing, BBQ and smoke sauce.
